Only 8 kilometres from Portoferraio, in the most exclusive bay of the Island of Elba, the Hotel Hermitage was established in the 1960s next to a beach with golden sand. Today the Hotel is a modern structure right beside the sea, rising up from the sand and the rocks and blending harmoniously into the natural beauty of the landscape. The Hotel Hermitage offers everything you could wish for in a recreational or relaxing holiday: a private beach with finest sand, a jetty, three seawater pools, a bar-restaurant at the water's edge, a piano bar and facilities for various games such as football, volleyball, bowls etc.

Rooms: the rooms, situated in little cottages, are hidden in the green of more than 50 hectares of the private park, garantiing privacy and indipendence. They are divided in Standard, side sea view, front sea view and, depending on the position, the size and the fournishing, Suites.

Services: The facility has 3 swimming pools with sea water, of which one for the children, fitness centre, hairdresser, and beautician. Snack-bar in swimming pool, the grill-bar on the beach and the private beach ( bathing-huts to be paid) is one of the most caracteristic of the north cost with a white sandy beach of ca. 600 mt. framed by green hills, striking cliffs and facing the sparkling sea. In July and August there will be barbecue dinners with live music, at the "fuoco del bosco" on saturday and a barbecue lunch not included in the price. Breakfast will be served at buffet, but Lunch and Dinner will be a la carte (hors d'oeuvre and dessert included) On the beach you can find the Restaurant "la Ghiotta" with menù à la carte, not included in the price. The restaurant "Peter Pan" that is thought just for children ( till 12 years of age) with special menù, and welcoming them from 6 pm creating a peacefull and joyous atmophere. There will be also a Mini Club for children from 4 to 12 years of age from the 15/06 to the 07/09 where the selected staff will oversee joint swimming and tennis courses outdoor games, and activities in an equipped premise. Babysitter if requested.

Sport: 6-holes golf course, 8 tennis courts ( one of wich illuminated), Tennis court/football field with syntetic grass. Sport lovers can rent boats and mooring buoys. Water-skiing, Swimming, tennis, and golf courses, diving centre with leave to grant PADI patents.

Pets: allowed of small size ( Not near the swimming pool, beach or restaurant).
